Legacy
TFO Legacy Fly Rod Series
Load Fast. Track Clean. Deliver.
The TFO Legacy is a premium extra-fast action fly rod built for experienced freshwater anglers who demand distance, accuracy, and power. Whether you’re throwing long leaders on a big western river, turning over multi-fly nymphing rigs, or driving streamers into the wind, the Legacy is engineered to perform when the cast matters most.
Built For: Intermediate to advanced freshwater fly anglers targeting trout, steelhead, bass, and carp across rivers, streams, and stillwater.
Solves: The limitations of slower, deeper-loading rods that struggle to carry line at distance, lose loop integrity in wind, or lack the butt power to land big fish in heavy current.
In Your Lineup: The Legacy fills the role of a purpose-built distance and power tool in the freshwater fly angler’s quiver. For anglers who already own moderate or moderate-fast rods for technical close-range work, the Legacy provides a dedicated rod for big water, challenging conditions, and situations where efficiency and accuracy at range are non-negotiable. Lift, load, and deliver—with fewer false casts and more confidence.

Signature III Fly Rod
This rod series is now discontinued.
Sometimes, simple is exactly what works.
The Signature III series offers smooth casting performance in a traditional two-piece design — built for anglers who value quick setup and straightforward reliability.
Balanced and easy to fish, it’s designed to support a wide range of freshwater and light saltwater applications.
Built For: Anglers who prefer the simplicity and convenience of a traditional two-piece fly rod.
Solves: The complexity and awkwardness that can come with multi-piece rod designs.
In Your Lineup: Signature III is the rod you reach for when simplicity matters. It assembles quickly and casts smoothly without unnecessary complication. Anglers rely on it when convenience and ease are the priority.
