Temple Fork Outfitters is pleased to announce two additions to its fly-fishing sales team: Peter Jordan of Grand Slam Group LLC and Peter Gadd of Blue Dun Sales.
Having recently purchased Grand Slam Group, Tom Jindra of New Orleans, La., has hired Peter Jordan of Daphne, Ala., to represent Temple Fork and other Grand Slam client companies in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Grand Slam is a specialty fly-fishing company that also operates in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
“Grand Slam was already in an enviable position with a tremendous selection of client companies and an equally great network of dealers,” Jindra said. “But the opportunity to bring Peter Jordan on board just compounds all the positives. He’s an incredible asset for everyone involved.
“We have an exciting future ahead of us.”
Jordan brings extensive sales experience in both fly-fishing and the marine industry, and in 2020, he opened the Lost Angler Fly Shop and Guide Service in Daphne.
Jindra joined Grand Slam as an associate in 2007. He is a former president of the Federation of Fly Fishers, now known as Fly Fishers International. Jindra is certified by FFI as a Master Casting Instructor and previously chaired FFI’s Casting Instructor Certification Program.
Grand Slam represents Temple Fork Outfitters, RL Winston Rod Company, Bauer Fly Reels, Lamson, Rainy’s Flies, Gamakatsu USA, Royal Wulff Products, South Fork Distributors (New Phase Inc.) and Aquaz USA.
Temple Fork Outfitters has also partnered with Peter Gadd of Blue Dun Sales to represent the brand in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and eastern Wisconsin.
Peter Gadd, a fly fishing enthusiast since the age of 10, has immersed himself in every facet of the sport. His path includes everything from stints working customer service in fly shops, guiding trout and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest, and working in the fly rod manufacturing process.
Peter currently represents brands such as R.L. Winston Fly Rods, Bauer Reels, TroutHunter, High N Dry, Solitude Fly Company, and Casey Underwood Artworks.
Peter is excited to be the newest sales rep for TFO. He currently operates from his home base in Minnesota because he loves balmy weather.

About Temple Fork Outfitters:
Our goal at TFO is to provide our anglers with tools properly fit to meet their needs, designed to last a lifetime, but won’t empty their pocketbooks. For more than two decades TFO has been the original rod company to offer the right tools at a sound price.
What does it mean to be original? For many, original means being “the first” to do something or being the mold from which copies are made. We often call these copies imitations. Temple Fork is neither a copy, nor an imitator.
For Temple Fork, being original has always been about setting the bar and creating the standard by which an angler weighs a rod’s performance against its price. And in fly fishing, we were the first to emphasize this relationship, becoming the original rod company to offer the right tools at a sound price. Learn more at, www.tforods.com
