Bruce Richards Joins the TFO National Advisory Staff

Temple Fork is excited to announce Bruce Richards has joined fly fishing luminaries Lefty Kreh, Larry Dahlberg, Gary Loomis, Ed Jaworowski, Bob Clouser, Flip Pallot, Blane Chocklett, Rob Fordyce, Nick Curcione, Jake Jordan, Bob Popovics, Wanda Taylor, Gary Dubiel, and Jason Randall as a TFO National Advisor.

Rick Pope, Founder and Chairman said, “Bruce offers a rare combination as one of the top fly casters and instructors in the world, as well as an expert in the design and manufacturing of fly lines. He is the perfect partner to demystify for our anglers the mess in fly line weights.”

Named “Angler of the Year” by Fly Rod & Reel magazine, Bruce began his career with Scientific Anglers four decades ago. During that time he served on the Board of Governors of the Federation of Fly Fishers, the board of American Fly Fishing Trade Association, and the board of the Madison River Foundation. He is the author of Modern Fly Lines and has written numerous magazine articles on fly fishing, casting, and the materials, design and manufacturing of fly lines. However, his passion to this day continues to be fly fishing education having taught it for over 30 years. Teaching and fishing have taken him to Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South and Central America, the Bahamas, and most American states. Intent on growing the number of fly anglers, Bruce is fishing, writing and teaching in Montana.

About Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO):

TFO assembled the world’s most accomplished, crafty anglers to design a complete line of fishing rods priced to bring more anglers into the sport. Because we believe that anyone who has the fishing bug as bad as we do deserves the highest performance equipment available to take their game to the next level. And in our experience, when we get people connecting with fish, they connect with nature. And they join us in our mission of keeping our rivers, streams, and oceans in good shape for the next generation. There’s a new breed of anglers out there. They’re smart. They’re passionate. They’re socially conscious. And they’re fishing Temple Fork.
